Birthday Girl

Hello and welcome to July! I hope your week has started well?

Saturday was a scorcher here in the UK so we decided to drive over to Salford Quays to the indoor shopping mall. Hubby wanted to go to Marks & Spencer outlet. Outside the mall was a wonderful Artisan market, heaving with people, but it was just too hot for me so I didn't get to see much at all before I dived back into the cool of the mall...
The heat didn't last, now we are back to cool weather and it's very, very windy.

I have another stencilled card to share with you today... Just a simple one for a friend's birthday

Whilst the stencil was still in place I splattered a little gold paint over just to add some sparkle

My shoulder is still bothering me and I have another treatment this week as well as a dentist appointment... You all know how much I detest going to the dentist... can't wait to get that over with I can tell you.

Have a beautiful day and I hope to catch up with you very soon...

This is very pretty Ros in what looks like two shades of green and beautifully blended, and the gold spattering works well, as does the large sentiment over the top. x

Fabulous blending of these pretty colours and such a great idea to leave the stencil on to do the splats on your beautiful card. Sorry about the dentist and your continued discomfort with your shoulder Ros x.

Oh Ros, this is so pretty. Love the simplicity of this, simple is best sometimes, and it works well with your card today. Love the shades of greens and gold embossed sentiment as well as the gold splatter. Such a lovely card. I would be glad to send over some heat for you if you like, all week feeling like 40C - much too hot for me. Have a wonderful week Ros, and good luck at the dentist.

Such a beautiful birthday card for your friend! Wonderful color with the stencil and beautiful gold embossed sentiment! I'm sure she will love it! It's still very hot here. It seems just yesterday it was too cold and rainy. The weather has been very extreme this year! Happy to hear it cooled down there for you! I know what you mean about the dentist, lol! Hope your shoulder improves soon! Take care, hugs!

Another beautiful stencil and stamp design, Ros! I love the gold flecks you added. No fun to have shoulder issues, that's for sure. I had a calcium deposit in my shoulder last year that had to be taken out surgically. I came out of the surgery with a full rotator cuff repair!

Beautiful color combo with the green and gold. Love how you added the gold paint splatters thru your stencil and your bold heat embossed sentiment. TFS Hugs...Nancy

You may call this simple, but there's nothing "just" about it, other than "just beautiful"! The shades of green, the gold splatters, and the fabulous gold sentiment -- love! Isn't it one thing after another? Your shoulder and now the dentist... I always feel better when I can soak up some warmth and sunshine, so I hope that comes back for you. Our summer has been nothing to shout about this year.

I wondered if you were included in the heat Europe is having. Glad it's cooler now, but I know you love the sun, Ros. Beautiful use of the stencil!

Ah, the beautiful green(s)! I love the energy this card exudes... and your gold splatters!

I rarely use my stencils. I should take a page from your book. The splatter idea was clever. Controlled just where you want it.
