Last Little Piece

Hello there...
Are you having a good start to your week? I hope so.

Our Cornish cousins are heading home today after being enthralled with their trip.. Their football team won, they were blown away with the vibrancy of our city and we all enjoyed a family dinner here at my home. Now I am preparing for a visit from Stella and her family from the Netherlands. They will be here in early September and I'm really looking to seeing them all again.

Today I am sharing another card made with a tiny left over piece of the same AI one I used for my previous two cards

I cut out a leaf from it and inlaid a gold one - You know when you die cut frames you always end up with that square or rectangle? Well one of those got used up too

I hope you can make out the word Smile that I stamped and embossed on the leaf I cut out of the tiny AI piece - It fitted perfectly (well almost)

I think this is one of my favourite cards so I'm glad I kept all those little bits.

Have a fabulous day and thanks so much for your visit

~ Ros ~

The warm colors and leaves are so gorgeous and perfect for the start of fall. The CAS white style really keeps the focus on the gorgeous colors!

WOW WOW WOW Ros, I really love this card... so elegant and rich -I'm a hoarder of scraps and those die cut pieces too - even position my die so that it leaves a border on the original panel... but your rescued AI piece is gorgeous and your leaf treatment fantastic..love it all, hugs Robyn

Well those scraps of AI were certainly worth using Ros and I adore your gold leaf inset into it, and then that piece used as a mat for the gold embossed sentiment and some great vertical dry embossed lines to finish it Such an elegant card. x

Such a classy looking card and love how you die cut the leaf and inlaid it back in with the gold. The smile sentiment is the perfect match for the falling leaf. One very beautiful card Ros. I miss Stella's creations on the blog x

Fantastic use of your pretty AI pieces, Ros! This is simply beautiful and I love the gold heat-embossed sentiment perfectly fitted in the maple leaf. The scoring in the background is a wonderful touch too.
