It's not the same without you...

Hello there... I hope you are all well?
These days get stranger and some days are harder than others adapting to this new way of life

I have a card to share for all of you who are missing your friends and family

The little dog is a stamp from Altenew and hasn't been used in awhile, like many of my stamps and dies...

I painted a little scene around him...

I spoke to one of my brothers the other day - we've always been close and see (or saw) each other regularly... I think that's what prompted this card.

Stay well my friends

~ Ros ~

What an adorable little puppers! This scene just makes me smile and go awwwwwwe. This “new normal” Doesn’t feel very normal, does it? At least we are able to create through it.

Awwwwww...what a sweet pup and I love the way his head is cocked just like they do when they're looking at you and saying "what"??!! You've painted a wonderful scene around him too Ros...absolutely adorable card!! :0)

Oh, too cute for words! On another note: I'm finally looking at some rain again outside, we were in dire need of it. But come Saturday, it will already be over again. As for the physical distancing: I'm still not having a hard time with it - but the whole work from home thing is getting to me. It's been the second week now that I really did not want to work and THAT feeling, for such an extended period, is very new to me. Makes me wonder sometimes whether I should consider a career change...

Adorable little scene, Ros! Just love that sweet puppy dog & the perfect sentiment for the times! I've been thinking I'm a bit jealous of people having all the extra time at home right now. I ALWAYS have this much time at home--haha! But I do wish I could run into a store & grab something I want. Then again, I have it easy while some people are struggling greatly to just get food.

It isn't the same, but I keep telling myself as long as we are all well, all's well. These days I'm thankful for my phone and the Internet. It's much easier to keep up with each other than it would have been 50 years ago. Your dog is adorable! What a wonderful combination of stamping and original art!

I adore this, Ros! Of course, I'm sure that's no surprise to you. The dog is cute, but even more so in the scene you created. I especially love the leaning houses with the power pole and lines. It's fun to see stamps combined with your own art. I got to see one of my girlfriends the other day. Drove by the work place and knocked on the window, then she came outside and we chatted at a safe distance. That's as good as it gets these days. I miss my friends!

Oh, this little fella is so sweet Ros and will certainly bring a smile to the recipient. I love the scene you created for him, and that his ball he is laying down to be thrown?
I do agree about the days being strange and I know I seem to be frittering time away without having anything useful to show for it.
Take care,
Carol x

Adorable scene with the sweet pup, Ros! What a creative way to combine a stamp with your art! I certainly miss my friends! Chatting with them on phone or texting just isn’t the same as seeing their sweet faces! I have good days and bad days I think just like everyone else. It’s just a new adjustment to these trying times. But, I know eventually it will get better! Take good care and hang in there, my friend! Hugs!!
