For Friends

Hello...
It's friday already and another week has flown by. A week of mixed weather here - some days were really hot and then cool with rain and more rain. Not that I'm complaining, I've slept well these past two nights and the garden really needed the rain.

Today's cards were made for blog friends but they have arrived so it's safe to share

So you can guess who this was for - the name kind of gives it away

And I'm so glad she liked it.

This one was for my lovely friend Marcia...

I think it was my first attempt at a bird house

Our mail is only arriving once a week here and I have been thrilled to receive cards from many of you too. Each one is like a little hug... That's one of the things I miss most about not seeing my friends and about the friends I lost last year - The hugs.

Thanks so much for your visit and your lovely comments but most of all for your friendship

Till soon

~ Ros ~

OMG how could they NOT be overwhelmed with joy in receiving these masterpieces! Your work is always SO professional and gorgeous! Works of Art to be framed for sure! Bless you for sharing your talents with your friends ... always nice to put a smile on someone's face ... especially in these difficult times! I'm SO BAD about sending my cards ... not sure why! But you've inspired me and so today's mission is to put a few in the mail to surprise a few of my friends and hopefully 'make their day'. Keep up the beautiful painting and thanks for always inspiring me (in so many ways!). HUGS from OHIO, USA

Mail arriving only once a week - that would take some getting used to on my part. But I guess on that one day there's then always something beyond bills and the like. You are certainly making sure that is the case for other people!

Oh, my! Such lovely cards, Ros! I am sure your beautiful thoughtful cards will be treasured by Bonnie and Marcia! Gorgeous flowers on both the cards, and how sweet is the birdhouse amongst the flowers! We received welcome rain yesterday evening. We were about to water the flowers and plants, but rain came just in time. We will enjoy a cooler weekend. The hottest day yet is due to come next Tuesday...whew! Have a great weekend, hugs!!

I feel a rush of happiness every time I click open your blog, Ros! Since you've been painting your own I can't wait to see what you'll come up with next. They're all so pretty and cheerful! We sure need that in light of the things going on around us. You made Bonnie and Marcia very happy! Once a week mail would be hard, but everything is different now. Here in the US some states and/or people want to believe it's all better now, but I'm concerned they'll find out differently. Rich and I are still being cautious. Hugs!

Truly little works of art that all your friends will treasure! So glad friendship doesn't require being together in person!

Oh my goodness Ros, both of these cards for Bonnie & Marcia are beautiful! You put so much love into your paintings, which brings such happiness to us all! Your birdhouse is just the sweetest, so perfect and whimsical. And the flower pot is filled with happiness! Love what you create. Glad your getting a few nights of much needed rest. Take care Ros, hugs.

These are so dreamy and beautiful and I can tell each stroke is full of love as you paint them, your recipients are blessed to receive them and will treasure them always! Our mail here is slow, but still daily for the most part, we are still keeping our distancing and staying in one house or the other, though Michigan has opened up more and our friends are going out all over, we have decided to just stay put for our safety. So much unrest in the world today and with Michigan having to worry about the EEE (mosquito born virus) my new summer perfume has become Deep Woods Off bug spray...hah!!
