Hello June

Hello and welcome to June

The 1st of June is always bitter sweet, it was the day I lost my Dad 47 years ago, and the same day my friend was married, so I can never forget her anniversary.

This year I painted a card for her and left it without a sentiment, simply because she loves my little paintings and already has framed one so she may like to do the same with this

I used a laminator to foil on the 'balloons' after I did the painting and yep, I was a little nervous of what may happen but it worked okay

It's been so hot here and much as I enjoy good weather, I don't like it too hot unless I'm in a pool or on the beach which is just not an option this year. So I've spent my time either outdoors in the shade or in my craft room which is very cool,  painting a few little note cards to send to some of my blog friends

I enjoy doing these and I hope the recipients will like them too.

Have a lovely day my friends

Oh my goodness Ros, your cards are exquisite! The foiled balloons is a very nice touch especially in celebrating an anniversary, love it! Your circle wreath cards, just blows my mind! I love them all, but the first one is my favourite, I just like how the 3 toadstools all line up. Ros, the details you put into your cards just amazes me! The recipients will for sure love these! Try to keep cool, much cooler this week here, more tolerable. Enjoy your day!

Oh Ros - these are just beautiful. I am a sucker for mushrooms/toadstools at the best of times (have a set of tinkling ones in the garden!!)and the gold foiled balloons are wonderful. I might have to tie some balloons to mine!
Almost my Mum's tenth anniversary (6th)just before my birthday (15th) so June is one of those months that I can never make my mind up if it is good or not.

Such memories, Ros - it is so special that you remember your friend's anniversary each year! and that you take what might be the saddest day of your life to celebrate her happiest. Your father might be celebrated, too, in these darling little paintings you create!

OMG...3 more beautifully watercolored cards, Ros. I do not see where you signed your paintings? They should be signed as they are an original Work of Art! I loved how you added the foiled balloons on your 1st card. Your friend will definitely want to frame her special card. Loved how you used a partial wreath style for your 2nd and 3rd cards. You are an amazing artist, my friend. TFS and stay cool. Love and Hugs..Nancy

Oh, Ros, you simply have the magic touch! I can just imagine how you feel when you make these infinitely pretty paintings. They're absolutely enchanting! Love the gold balloons on the first, and how they're tied to the toadstool with the squiggly strings. I'm in love with your wreath cards... well, I'm in love with everything you make. The gold embossing of the sentiment is an especially nice touch. There's such a sweetness to all your creations and today it's just what the doctor ordered. Thank you!

Hi Ros. Your paintings are so inspiring. I love your work, my friend! And your friend is going to love her birthday card and I bet she frames it to hang with the other painting you gave her. She is one lucky girl!!

Your notes cards are all so sweet. I LOVE the particial circle with so many beautiful flowers, leaves and mushroom. The whispy look is very beautiful and feminine! xx
