Paint and Stencil

 Hello there friends...

Another week is almost over and not much to report which I suppose is a good thing. Hubby and I did go for a walk down by the river the other day, it was quite busy and very blustery, not that it bothered these guys

So today I have a couple of cards to share... A Christmas card

...Using a stencil for the background and I painted the stamped image
You can see the touches of glitter, though you can't see the sparkle...

...or how the gold painted bell gleams

And I also have a sketched and painted card I did just because...

The only thing I didn't sketch is the little snail... he was a £1 stamp from Lavinia though I did add some dots to his shell

I do hope you are all well... Stay safe

These are just as amazing as usual Ros!
Love the stencil background for your shiny bell - and you know how much I adore your watercolours - and if they have mushrooms on them all the better! (I have just bought that cute snail too - hate them in my pots and containers helping themselves to my plants but can cope with them on cards!!
Be careful as always. xx

Oh gosh, are those swans around in the winter as well? I will admit I have no idea. Good going on the Christmas card but - I am surprising myself - your non-Christmas is the star of this post (to me at least). Such a cute little scene!

The Christmas card is beautiful with the pretty stencilling and bell, so elegant and love the sparkle and then one of your own pieces, and the little dots on the snail's shell made me smile, another wonderful piece of art Ros. x

What a nice day and what a beautiful post! Those swans are pristinely lovely and both your cards are a delight to the eyes, and we all sure need that. Love the gold and the soft-edged stenciling on your Christmas card, and the pretty hand-painted garden scene. Everything about that makes me feel good. You totally amaze me how you picked up a brush and just went with it, and now we all benefit. Thank you!

The swans are FAB as are your cards! Think of all of the money you spent on stamps when you could just draw everything and watercolor! You are just so talented!

Two amazing cards Ros. I LOVE your gorgeous Christmas card with the stenciled background. I can see the sparkle on the stenciling, but not on the bell. I can imagine, however, that is as shiny as could be. Beautiful work.

Your second card makes me smile. I love your sweet woodland scene. Your sketching and painting is so inspiring! xx
