Hi there...
It's another dull day here in Liverpool with a cold wind...
Yesterday was much the same with some rain too so I got to spend the afternoon in my craft room. There are a few birthdays this month and one of my brothers celebrates his Wedding Anniversary.
Today's card is the Anniversary card I made for my brother and SIL
I got out my distress inks to make some backgrounds and I also pulled out the glitter, much as I like the look of glitter, I don't like how it gets everywhere
I used a SSS die to cut out the hearts from the painted BG and added double sided tape to the back before smooching the glitter over the negative spaces
The lovely white die cut flower was a gift from Loll and Bonnie and I just added another die cut leaf stem to it.
Considering that my mojo took a hike, I managed to finally come up with 7 cards yesterday... I'll share some more with you soon
Have a great day and stay warm
Till soon

7 cards!!!...how do you do it? This is lovely...favourite colours and very clever use of the glitter over the cut out hearts. I think your mojo is back!xx
Pretty design and I love the sparkles!
Beautiful card, love the colorcombination!
This is so gorgeous, Ros! I need to make several anniversary cards for my friend's kids and would love to do something so pretty as this, sigh... Love the glittered hearts in such a sweet background. The botanical die cuts and scalloped edge work beautifully with it. I'll be looking forward to the rest of your cards!
This is so beautiful, Ros--love the background with the sparkly hearts & contrast with the white foliage! It was worth the glitter mess--easy for me to say, huh?! 7 cards in one day--you're amazing!
Simply gorgeous! And I do feel like I would like to get glitter all over me just now... but I have to do some ironing instead :-)
This is a really pretty design with the glittered hearts within that really bright and pretty background Ros, and such fabulous contrast with the beautiful floral die cut image with the added leaf stem cut from white card, which makes it stand out so well. I think your mojo is working just fine, especially if you managed to come up with another six designs, and am looking forward to seeing them. x
Ros, this is gorgeous! Very elegant. I love how you did the hearts, what a great idea with the double sided tape to hold the glitter. I'm sure your brother and sister-in-law with love this. Good for you for getting 7 cards made - wow! Can't wait to see some of them. Have a wonderful day!
Gorgeous Ros, your distressed oxide background is so so pretty. I know what you mean about glitter, even my dogs get sparkly :)
I love using double sided tape to hold it in position. those green hearts just pop off the card.
I can't wait to see the rest.
Gorgeous ink blending in the background, Ros! A wedding anniversary card needs bling, so the glimmer paper peeking from the die-cut hearts is perfect. The way you placed the white flowers and leaf stem die-cuts is so elegant.
Hideko xx
Beautiful colour combination and loving the bling from the messy glitter.......Gorgeous crisp white die cuts and what a beautiful anniversary card X

Yes, lol, that glitter can be super messy but it looks amazing in the cut outs. I love the scalloped edge on the card base. Very pretty.
