Blue Green and Inbetween...

Hello!
I hope all is well with you... My son shared his awful cold with me and it wasn't the best way to start the new year... Still, today my head is a lot clearer and I got some daffodils and tulips which make me a happy girl. As it happens, DH and I celebrate our wedding anniversary today.

So today's card is the one that I made for my DH, inspired by the new challenge at CAS Watercolour

Blues, greens and inbetweens - My favourite colours and shades that are in in my Watercolour Confection box

Now, that flower is from a very old stamp set by the English Stamp Company and I'm guessing it is supposed to be a waterlily as the set is 'oriental' but I'm not worrying about that, Stamp it, emboss in clear E/P, paint it draw a stem and it can be anything I want... Right? So I did two and fussy cut them

Anyway, it was a last minute thing... I couldn't not give DH a card and I haven't been well enough to even think, so thank you to Bonnie at CAS Watercolour for the inspiration. Oh, and DH loved it too, which is always a bonus.

Have a great day and thanks so much for your visit.

Till soon

 ~ Ros ~

Hello Ros,

I've just been having a catch up on your recent posts and enjoying all the cards you made. You have to be the Background Queen in blog land - I marvel at all the beautifully blended panels you come up with - usually in my favourite colours too! I hope your cold soon melts away and that 2020 is a good year for you and your family.
Hugs

Sorry to hear about your awful cold! I’m just getting over one, too! I just hope I don’t give it to my husband for he’s still recuperating from knee surgery. Anyways, your card is just lovely with the gorgeous blue flowers! Pretty white die cut, too! Sending warm anniversary wishes to you and your husband! Take care, hugs!!

It's what I call "everyflower" and it's certainly not limited to a waterlily. Looks a little bit like a dahlia, in fact. For sure it's absolutely beautiful in your watercolor blues and gorgeous white card you created for it to sit on. Love the die you adorned it with. Same as on the birthday card you sent me. Happy anniversary, Ros! I hope you keep on feeling a little better each day.

They ask you to use cold colors, which you do - and yet the card floods my heart with warmth! Can that be attributed to the Love sentiment... or maybe it's because the warmth of the card creator...?
