I am going to attempt my very first challenge ... 

Aren't her two daughters just beautiful? 


This is my take on the challenge ....

As I have never done this before I really hope that I get to link it correctly, keep your fingers crossed...

Fresh bread...smells sooo good!

Good morning and what a lovely day it is ...


I have a just baked a wholemeal loaf and it smells so very good, but I have to wait until it cools before I can cut into it...... (sigh) ... 
The sun is shining and for the first time in many months - I have my sheets on the line ... another of my favourite scents... the fresh outdoor smell of clean linen... ahhh!


Today I have a card and tag with matching envelope to share - using the lovely Webster's pages. Once again I apologise for the picture, the constant rain and dark days we had for the last month poses a problem when photographing and this set was made a few weeks ago.


I also have another of my little boxes to share ... this one has a mini album inside. Various digital papers, and embellishments on this. Do you like?

Sweet Spring....

Hello...


The sun is shining and it looks like Spring is here to stay.... my little robin has been very industrious building her home and the blue tits too are busy flying to and fro as they build their nest in the bird box just next door.
Watching the squirrels chasing around it seems as if the sun has worked her magic all around..... love is in the air .....
With that in mind I have a little box to share - this is made with Vinnie Pearce digital papers once again... some flowers and bits and glitter of course. 
Inside is a little note pad....

Bicycles and Aunts...

When I saw this digital stamp from Stacy Marks, it reminded me of my dear Aunt who, at 83 and despite having gone through some major health issues, still continues to ride her little 3 wheeler bicycle.

She is such an inspiration....and a brilliant artist too ... I will share some of her paintings and embroidery work in my next post - you will be amazed at her talent!

Earthquakes ....

Good Morning...

My son is in LA and last night he was partying in Hollywood... I get an email to say that there were earthquakes to the north and south, but thankfully he is fine.

One never stops being a Mom, no matter how old your 'baby' is ... they will always be just that "your baby" and instinct makes you want to protect them....

I am glad that my son is seeing the world... LA calls to him when he is home and America is where he needs to be. I get to see it all through his eyes... and my heart is happy when he is.

A card and shoes set to show you - I made this sometime ago for a friend - those little shoes are so darn fiddly I can tell you. Sorry about the poor quality of the picture ... it was a while ago.
