More Love ...

... Two more "Love" cards .... both of which I can enter for The Shabby Tea Room  challenge... see my previous post for the Deets and the photo inspiration ... or just click the link to go straight to the Tea Room ...

I've used digital papers again and the 'heart' paper is totally free HERE ..
I printed it twice and cut and layered some of the little hearts ...

Some I covered with gel stickers ... can you see them?

two different colour seam bindings ... some letters from my stash and a beautiful pink glass button
and I think it says all it needs too ....

My second card is also for the WaltzingMouse Challenge ... this is the sketch

Which I flipped ...

This is a smaller card than I usually make ... lace and ribbon free so not too girlie

Now I have to prepare for tomorrow nights' club night ... Valentines cards of course!! There is always so much love in working with these wonderful mentally challenged people ... it's like Valentines every week ...

Have yourselves a great day

L'amour ...

I'm just loving the new digital papers I got from Design House Digital ... and couldn't wait to use them ... I made a card which I think fits the bill for the challenge at CR84FN14 ... where my friend Stella is guest designing this month ... and for The Shabby Tea Room who kindly awarded me an Honorable Mention last week ... "Thank You" The  Shabby Tea Room

This is the colour combination for this weeks' challenge at CR84FN14

and this is the inspiration picture from The Shabby Tea Room ... where you need to use Hearts and or any of the colours from the picture

... and here is my card of 'love' ...

Papers are from Jen Allyson  ... Vintage Findings Pink Paris  ... oooh I love these ...
The butterflies are digital from HA Flutterbies and printed on paper from the pack which is dark brown and white ... though I confess that like my ribbon ... they look more black than brown on these photos

I also coloured them a little with Pro Markers and added glitter ... the tag is from Vintage Findings Antique Tags ...  again by Jen Allyson

Heart, flower lace and gems are all from my stash
I will have some more to share with you soon using my new papers ...
Till soon .. be safe

Just to say Thank you ...

...  To  sweet Terrie Bailey for the lovely package I received today ...

and just look at how beautifully wrapped this was ..

Along with a fabulous card and tag ...

And I make no apologies for the sunshine in my photos ... just wonderful!!
Terrie is a fabulous crafter and her cards are very unique ... not surprisingly she is a DT member of Pink Petticoat ... who offer incredible digital papers and embellishments ... and now they are also selling the non digital paper packs ... Pink Petticoat is where my love of digital started from ... if you get a chance  pop over and take a look ... you'll find lots of inspiration there... I was fortunate enough to win one of these brand new paper packs from Terrie ... Isn't it lovely ... all soft and pretty ...

And did you know that there are still "Give Aways" at The Pixie Dust Paperie? Look at these goodies ...

Beautiful handmade jewels from Zielonooka

... and this fabulous kit full to the brim with delicious papers and embellishments ...
So why not hop over for your chance to win ...

City Crafter Challenge

Hello and Good Morning to you all ... How are you?
I am hosting this week at City Crafter Challenge blog and have set you a challenge to use both Gold and Silver on your cards/ projects ... in any form

You can use brads, mirri card, buttons , ribbon ... or even thread!!

I'm not really a 'cutesy' sort of gal ... love to see them ... just don't usually make them ... But, my dear SIL  loves them ... and as she has a birthday in a few days ... I did this especially for her ...

I'm not sure that you can see the gold sparkle on this little teddy but I can assure you it's there ... and gold on my lace too

I love this silver flower ... by colour connection but adding the prima centre really sets it off I think..

And of course it would not be complete without a little butterfly or two ... my SIL loves them too ...
The DT have done some wonderful cards this week if you are looking for inspiration And we are so fortunate to have the incredible Johanna .. aka {Bibbi}s Dillerier as our guest designer!! ... her work is just incredible!! Seriously ... you need to take a look
And ... we have a wonderful prize this week donated by Sylvia Nelson who is not only a very kind hearted lady but an incredibly talented lady ... followers of CCCB will know this for sure! and she has an Etsy shop Here ...
So why not take a browse through some lovely creations ...  full of inspiration ... then come and join us at City Crafter Challenge ...
We look forward to seeing you!

Till soon

Jingle Belles ...

This is my second post today ... I've had time on my hands and the weather has been too miserable to go out visiting so I decided to make my 6th Christmas card with the Jingle Belles Rock challenge ... and this week the prompt is "Baby it's cold outside" ... card or tags have to include something warm - mittens, hats, scarves etc., or some fuzzy warm felt ...
I think I may have gone a bit too warm! ... I made mittens and a scarf ...

I just drew the shape and cut them out of felt ... and added some lace and a fuzzy flower with a gem

the glittered 'snow' word I had in my stash along with everything else ...
So there we are ... what do you think? too much? Ah well ...
Enjoy your weekend sweet friends

An angel to watch over you ...

Hi there ...
My internet connection has been playing up all morning ... so I'm way behind visiting you all ... I hope it rights itself soon ... it's driving me mad ...
Anyway it gave me time to make a card using the lovely colour combination from the Play Date Cafe ...

Such a pretty photograph ... looks like one of my favourite flowers ... the dahlia ... the ones that earwigs seem to adore ...

This pretty little angel has been keeping me company lately ... smiling out at me from my desktop ... so it seemed only fitting that I made a card with her ... and I used the papers from Lauren's new line at My Time Made Easy ... along with a few extras ...

That little gel stamp is actually a dark blue/purple ... but it is wet and dull here so maybe that isn't so clear ... and I couldn't resist photographing this angel amongst my flowers ... cheers up a rainy day

I hope you are having a lovely Saturday

Till soon
