It's "Time" for Papercraft Star

Hello from Majorca ... (wish you were here lol)!
Time goes really fast when you are enjoying yourself - my week here will be over before I know it

Isn't this just a fabulous inspiration photo - picked for us by Jan for this weeks' challenge at
Papercraft Star - Clock or Watch

Fortunately for me ... I recently bought the PTI "Hands of Time" stamp set together with the co - orinating dies - I also had a special birthday card to make for a friend who celebrates her 50th next week
WARNING ... there are lots of photos

My card sits in a pocket/box which I just cut by hand ... this will also store a gift card

The papers are Papermania ... Vintage Notes collection - you maybe able to spot the stamping on the pink paper which is done with Versamark and covered with perfect pearls ... it is quite shimmery ... I  used a Sizzix die to cut the scalloped circle that the clock face sit on

The clock hands are cut from silver Mirri card and the numbers were done on my Cameo and cut from vinyl

Some silver embossing, liquid pearls, pearl brad, pearl flourish, tulle and flowers with a sweet charm and some computer generated text complete my card

And a little look at the box ...

The dots were from the off cuts of the clock face die and I hand cut some triangles to make a banner

I'm looking forward to seeing the creations from the rest of the Designers ... and the team is looking forward to seeing your creations so please come and join us this week ...

Enjoy your day ... Thanks so much for stopping by

Till soon

Bon Voyage City Crafter

Hi there ...
My post this morning is scheduled ... hopefully I will be enjoying some sunshine when you are reading this ...

Today starts a new challenge at City Crafter ... And this week our challenge is dedicated to sweet Linda Robinson who bid her farewells to us last week to embark on a new venture in her life

(Hopefully in something a little bigger than this lol)!

We wish her Bon Voyage and ask that this week you too make a
Bon Voyage card or project

This card and pocket will be winging it's way across the Atlantic Ocean to Linda

I've tried to incorporate some of the things relevant to Linda and her road trip

I know she loves the ocean and the birds too

...  her camera is always to hand ... she's a wonderful photographer

who enjoys a cup of coffee to start her day

Lots of stickers, papers, Washi tape and bits and pieces pulled from my stash ...

This week our Guest designer is The talented Yvonne Yam who has some fantastic ideas on her blog
And we have a generous sponsor too this week
Who are giving away a $50 gift certificate ... but please note this is only applicable to US addressees

So... I really hope you will join in our challenge ... every week we are amazed at your talent ... Picking winners is the hardest part of being a DT member .... Don't forget to visit the Blog and check out the creations from the rest of the team and keep checking back for the winners from our Birthday celebration ...

Thanks so much for stopping by ...

Keep safe

Signs of Spring and Watercolour

Signs of Spring in my garden

I know I know! ... I should be doing something useful ... like packing my case ... drawing up a holiday check list ... But I want to play ...
I was looking for something ... my crackle paint actually ... which seems to have 'mysteriously' disappeared ... I have my suspicions - after finding a bunch of my acrylics stashed in 'someone's' paint cupboard!
I didn't find what I was looking for ... but I did find a box of watercolour pencils ...
I can't even remember buying them - and they've never been used

Equally I am ashamed to say that I have never inked up a beautiful stamp set sent to me by Jacqueline (oh I love her work)

So ...... I thought I'd give this new (to me) technique that's all over blogland at the moment ... Ok, not perfect ... but hey! I've never done this before ... and it was such fun

Watercoloured flowers
The stamp is by Hero Arts and I embossed it first in white embossing powder
... that little bird and cage were hiding in my bits box

The other stamps are from Inkylicious and the paper is a digital from Digital House Design by Agnes Biro (No longer available)

Right, I'm off to do something useful ...

Have a lovely day

Aqua Birthday Card

Hello ...
As I'm away next week I am trying to keep on top of upcoming DT projects, leaving comments and making cards for friends birthdays ...
I think I've got it all covered ... Just some post to schedule ...

Here's a birthday card for one of my friends using the sweet simple sketch from

I'm also entering this into the challenge at
Because I think this sentiment is really lovely

It's from PTI as is the paper and the die that I used to cute that little note

The aqua check is Washi tape from Here and the embossed CS is from my scraps
I also used a few Rubons and some trims from my supplies

My DH has had a touch of 'man flu' ... you all know what that means ... I am desperately trying not to catch any bugs ... I just know he will be fine come the day we leave ... please God I am too!

Thanks so much for visiting me and leaving me your sweet comments ...
Have a beautiful day

Papercraft Star ... Use A Stamp

Hello and good morning!
How are things with you? Good I hope ...

This week's challenge at Papercraft Star is simply to use a stamp

Wouldn't I just love to be as neat and tidy as the person that has that stamp cupboard! My storage system seems to change as much as my style ...

My card this week uses the pretty Poppy stamp from Indigo Blu ... I made it for a friend of mine who likes something a little different ...

She loves textures and this was right up her street

Torn corrugated card and paint ... a touch of lace and of course that lovely poppy ... stamped onto red DP, embossed and layered with some liquid pearls thrown in

The fabric tape is by Papermania and see that little ladybird? Well that started life as a fancy drawing pin ...

The designers at Papercraft Star have some lovely creations to inspire you so don't forget to take a peek ...
I hope you'll join us this week and get inky!

Have a beautiful day ... Thanks so much for visiting me and for taking the time to leave such lovely comments ... I really appreciate it ...
