I chose to use a silhouette of children this week

...cut on my Cameo
I'm using that pretty paper and a stamp from my friend Rebecca

... together with a Memory Box die and lots of glitter
This card so reminds me of my childhood ... we didn't have all the fancy waterproof clothes and boots that are available today and we would come in soaking wet and freezing cold having played for hours in the snow!

May I take this opportunity of wishing all of you wonderful bloggers, my team mates and friends around the globe

Our Beautiful World

Good Morning!

The new prompt today at Our Beautiful World is

Christmas

I've seen a lot of Christmases and many things have changed over the years from those magical  childhood days ... full of excitement ... to the utter joy of being a Mother myself and sharing the magic with my son ... I'm blessed in that we have never spent a Christmas apart

The story of Christmasa wonderful story whether you believe or not ... remains in my heart...
And I believe in miracles

I'm not about bright lights and showy things ...

But red berries and snowy pine cones will always be Christmas to me

And this year just a simple Christmas tree ... The little girl ornament was gift ... she symbolises friendship

Important to me all year round ....

Then there are Angels who remind me not only of the Christmas story but of those who are no longer here and the blessings of those who still are

We'd love you to share your Christmas photos at

And maybe tell us the story behind them ... and what makes it special for you

Wishing you a beautiful day and a Christmas full of magic, joy and happiness

Hello there ...

I know like me you are all busy this being the last weekend before Christmas - so I'll keep this short
I just have a couple of Christmas cards to share

I cut out lots of these branches and birds for my group to make their cards with so I'm using up the leftovers

And the second

This one is very glittery ...You can tell I love Memory Box dies

Ok that's all for today ... I'll be back tomorrow for the new prompt at
See you then

Have a wonderful day!

Another Birthday

Thursday already!
And it's a bright sunny day here ... cold but perfect for a walk if you wrap up warm ...

It's also a male friend's birthday ... There are so many this time of year and it's hard switching from Christmas cards to birthday cards and back again...
It took me a while to do this I can tell 'ya

... but I always get there in the end

There's a mix of papers here and the centre kraft coloured one is a scrap from a My Minds Eye pack that I have simply adored ... every page of this pad has been a joy

I do have a cutting machine but I actually cut the bow by hand ... it's supposed to be like a bow tie

So, what plans have you for today? I'm off to see a friend and drop off a gift ... tomorrow it's lunch with my GFs ... Sunday I'm off to Lincoln to see my Aunt ... Busy busy busy...

Wishing you a beautiful day and Compliments of the season

Till soon

White and Gold

Hello ... I hope you've had a good start to the week

Normally I would be posting for Papercraft Star ... but as you may have noticed, Papercraft Star has decided to close it's doors ... at least for now.

As I usually do all my DT work in advance I already had my card for this week ... white and gold

I kept it pretty simple with some pine stem Memory Box die cuts

Gold is not really my colour ... I find it hard to use without it looking too gaudy, hence I mixed it up with some white glittered pine stems and cones ...
And I embossed the card first with a tree embossing folder ... not sure you can see that

Can you believe that this time next week it will be Christmas Day!
Only 7 more sleeps!

Have a great day and stay safe

Hi there!

Not long to go now ... Are you all ready for Christmas? I've still got wrapping to do and more gifts to deliver ...

Today at City Crafter we are thrilled to welcome a new member to our team...
Anna all the way from Poland!
Anna makes the most beautiful projects, please click the link to her blog and take a look around ... you'll love it!

This week Charlene is our hostess and she's picked a lovely photo

Char is asking that we make a card or project using bells

We have the lovely Lisette (Mrs Beez) back with us as our Guest Designer and once again our winner will have a GD spot with us...

I made a little treat bag for a friend at Thursday Club...

Which I filled with delicious chocolates

The paper was a digital one and I used Stickles to glitter the centre of each snowflake

... and of course some jingling bells to decorate

Ok. so now it's over to you ... if you have the time we'd love you to join us this week at City Crafter ... Take a hop over to the blog to see all the lovely projects from the team and say "Hi" to our new member too ...
