City Crafter Get Booked

Good Morning ...
It's cold here ... freezing cold ... and I'm happy to be tucked up in my creative space right now
It's my turn to host this weeks challenge at City Crafter and this week I am asking you to either make a book ... album, tag book, journal etc., or alter a book ... I adore books ... from reading them to making them ... and I have been busy making these little gifts for some of my friends ...

I can't take all the credit for these little books though - not for the first time I was inspired after reading Stef's  Link loves each Thursday and came across This link .. where the idea came from and a free download of the quotes too ... so grateful thanks to Michele

I have friends from all walks of life ... some are Christians, some not ... some have children ... some don't ...So I adapted each book accordingly... adding some bible quotes for my Christian friends and adding some with children in mind for those who have children ... I decided to do my own pages using my digital files
Here are some of the quotes I printed ...

and some bible quotes

Once they are saved on my computer, I can just print them off whenever I need to

.. and what to put them in ... well I used my Silhouette to make these and lined them with acetate

I also put in a little battery candle so that when the books were taken out ... the bag could be used as a decoration ...

So there we have it ... are you going to join us this week at City Crafter?
We have the very talented Sylvia Nelson Guesting for us so please stop by her blog and say "Hi" and don't forget to visit the rest of the DT to see their fabulous creations too ...

Have a Wonderful Day
