Shadowed Hello

Gosh where did the week go??
I can hardly believe it's friday already ...

I had a visit from my brother and SIl on Wednesday -  they brought my adorable great nephew Ross ... I have missed him so much ...
He decided to have his lunch in the garden ... a sort of picnic ... The thing is the weather was so cold! He insisted his Granddad joined him ... Well, my brother didn't last long out there ... he was going blue! So I came up with a little outdoor game for Ross ... I gave him an old computer chair ... the sort with wheels on - and he spent hours pushing plant pots around ... Then of course I had to push him around - or should I say run him around ... like a fair ride! I can promise you I slept well that night ...

I have a card to share using the PTI "hello" die that I love

This time I shadowed it by cutting it twice ... once in black and once in green DP then layered them slightly offsetting the green one ... it just gives it a more 3D effect

The black dottie Washi tape you can see is actually from Ikea ... It's meant for packaging but it looks, feels and works just the same as Washi tape and comes in various colours and styles

Have you plans for the weekend? There is no football tomorrow for DH so we are probably going to go to Nantwich ... stopping in a country pub for lunch ... it will be indoors this time though ...

Whatever your plans are have a great weekend ... stay safe and thanks for stopping by

~ Ros ~

Your card is wonderful, love the shadow effects and I also really like how the banner echos it all as you cut it from the same paper, beautifully embellished too!

  17. It's so good to visit your blog again Ros, so sorry I didn't respond to your last email, but I came down with a touch of flu and didn't know a person could have so many aching muscles, lol! Anyhow, things are slowly getting back to normal again. By the way, speaking of muscle ache, yours must probably ache, too, from playing with little Ross so much ;-) But kids are wonderful little beings, aren't they? Now on to your card, this is made in true Ros style, elegant and classy! Love it! Hugs, Ira xox
