Recycled Rooster

This morning I was going through my some of my cards ...
I send a lot of them ... give lots away and yet still I am overflowing with them ...
I came across a card I made a long time ago which you can see Here  ... It was something I did on a whim and today I decided to recycle it ...

Lessology has a challenge - For The Love Of Fabric

It requires something recycled and of course some fabric ... Perfect!

At the Play Date Cafe ... the colour choice is stunning

... And my finished project has these colours ... but maybe a little more
So anyway, here is my recycled card ... now framed

I removed the glass for photo purposes ...
As you can see I added some fabric trim to the top and also to the bottom right along with some rose trim ... There is also some burlap under the nest

The little nest was a left over from Easter and I actually cut it and the eggs in half to fit in the frame ... It sits on some yellow threads and is decorated with leaves rescued from artificial flowers displays and some flowers from my supplies

The little watch was hiding away ... something I salvaged from somewhere ... I gave it a new face courtesy of Tim Holtz junkyard Findings ...

And there you have it ... a recycled rooster!

I hope you are having a lovely day ...

Thanks for stopping by

~ Ros ~
