And this week our lovely Australian friend Robyn has picked the word
Clouds
We rarely have a cloudless sky ... I love spotting shapes in clouds ... I look for shapes everywhere and see them in the most unusual things ... do you ever do that?
I love wispy clouds in a bright blue sky ... or clouds that puff up like cotton wool
But this past week we've had a lot of big fat heavy black clouds ... so full of rain
...Even in Lincoln those old rain clouds began to roll in over the fields - good for the newly planted crops - This is the view from my Aunts back garden
And it's worth showing again a photo I took one evening last year... A stunning sunset that made it look like the sky was on fire

ReplyDeleteBeautiful...love the fluffy clouds, I can remember as kids we would lay on the grass and try to make shapes out of them...brings back a few good memories!! Have a wonderful trip!!
ReplyDeleteHi Ros what super lovely cloud pics- they fascinate me; the shapes and colours and to know that rain may be imminent as they hang low and dark and I do remember trying to find shapes in the clouds when a youngster..haven't done that for ages.. Cheers and have a great week Robyn

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo's Ros, love the clouds! We did enjoy two days of clouds with a little bit of rain, but the sunny days are prevailing which is nice as well. spent all day outside yesterday and plan more planting today! Have a wonderful Sunday!

ReplyDeleteI love clouds! We had them here on Saturday and they were gorgeous! The grandaughters said one of them looked like a rabbit! Great pics!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cloud shots Ros! Isn't it amazing? The things you 'see' in clouds? I still dream up entire stories when lying flat on my back on the grass in the garden and look up at the clouds, always loved looking at the changing shapes! Ira x
