When The Unexpected Happens

Hi ...

I never expected that when I did this post for my friend and shared the card I made for her birthday that a week later I would be sharing a sympathy card for her daughter Elizabeth ...
Tragically 2 days after my friend celebrated her birthday, her son in law was killed in a car accident...
Elizabeth is left with 2 young children of just  5 and 2 ...
Somethings are just hard to comprehend ... It was only a few years ago that my friend's son lost his girlfriend in the same way...

He's gone on to find love again and a has a baby daughter now ... I can but hope that in time Elizabeth will be able to find peace and her new beginning...

  6. That's awful dear Ros... Your friends must feel so bereft... And what else can be done except support them and send a sweet card with thoughts of them, yours is very thoughtful and delicate, it will be of great comfort to Elizabeth... Ira x
