Roses

Hello ...

It's bright and sunny here but we are forecast snow....
There's always lots of things to do indoors and that's where I'm staying for now

I recently bought a copy of the Cards and Papercraft magazine ... simply because there are free stamps by Clearly Besotted this month and I am a fan of theirs ... plus my friend Keren designs for them and it's always a pleasure to see what she comes up with ...
I just love the rose stamp that was in the set and I've made a few cards using this stamp over the weekend ... Here's one of them ...

You don't usually see me using these bright colours but I really like this ... I have roses of the same colours in my garden during the summer

I used my Gelatos to paint the flowers and though I'm not that good I do love the Gelatos and I'm happy with how they turned out and I think my fussy cutting may be improving

The sentiment is also part of the stamp set ... I'll share some more of my rose cards later in the week ...

Stay warm and have a good day

Hugs

  4. Such a pretty card! I love the roses, too, and the color palette is perfect! You probably went for the "unusual" colors because you are longing for spring! Sleet caught up with me on the bike ride home today... nasty...

  5. That is a gorgeous rose stamp and you have showcased it so beautifully, Ros! I love how you use gray inks for your sediments sometimes and I like that soft look, so thank you for getting me thinking about that! Love the angles, too. Have a wonderful week and I hope you don't get too much snow! Hugs, Darnell
