Good morning!
It's cooled down a lot here in the UK but I'm having a lovely time with my Aunt so forgive me if I don't get around to comment much this week ... I'll catch up when I can.
Today at City Crafter Challenge ... Kirsty is our hostess and the theme is
"You are my sunshine"
You're all singing it now aren't you ... Go on I know you are haha!
The challenge is to to make a card or project that features a lot of YELLOW
Here's my card
Yellow is not really my 'go to' colour but here I used it to stamp those pretty flowers (Painted Flowers stamp set by Altenew)
I cut the sentiment from some left over stamped card and though that sentiment die (By Lawn Fawn) cuts in one long strip ... I cut the words up to fit onto the card. I cut it out in black as well to give some shadowing to the words..

ReplyDeleteOh no--you're my second friend using those flowers for a gorgeous card! Now I "need" them for sure! Yellow is not my color either, but I may have to rethink that as I can't take my eyes off this card! I cannot believe our folks were married on exactly the same day--small world for sure! Just wish it was small enough for us to have lunch together!

Yellow isn't an automatic choice for me either and yet I love it! Your card is fabulous, those flowers look great in yellow and I love the little detail of the cat's collar.

ReplyDeleteYellow isn't my go to colour either Ros, but I've been playing with it a bit lately...your card is lovely and I find the shadowing die cut effect really catches your eye.
