Hello...
The end of another week draws near and tomorrow I am taking a short break to go visit my sweet Aunt... I will be away until Tuesday. I haven't seen my Aunt for ages and much as I hate to leave my sick friend, I need to re-charge my batteries so to speak and spend some relaxing time with the aunt I love so much...
My friend was moved into a nursing home this week and in between visits, liaising with doctors and social workers as well as the normal daily things, I did managed to squeeze in some time for crafting and catching up on DT work... I have a card to share which I made for a friends' birthday - There are so many this month!
Some simple ink blending - It's fast becoming one of my favourite things to do - along with a stamped and embossed image
Now if only I could remember to send them out on time it would be good! Lol!
Oh, did I tell you that this card was a Top 5 over at Try It On Tuesday? How lucky am I!

Gorgeous ink blending and it is so striking with the black silhouette image. I am so much better at making the cards than sending them! They're always late!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your ink blending and the wheat image! I have a wheat image I've been wanting to use like this, but didn't want a dark card, so I'm very inspired by what you've done. Colorful and pretty with lots of white. This is a real WOW! My wheat isn't this open and jaunty and pretty, though, sigh. Fantastic card, Ros!
