Good morning!
It's time for a new challenge over at City Crafter and this week it's Stella hosting for us
The theme - The Tree Is Up
The challenge - Create a project that features a Christmas Tree
My Christmas tree is up but so far it's naked ... I've not been too well so things are a little behind, and maybe my card reflects that
See, they are Christmas trees but undecorated, except for the snow of course
It's just a little painting I did with stamped trees
...And I added a Cameo cut die of the birds on a wire
Hop on over to the City Crafter Blog to see what the team have to inspire you this week and link up your Christmas tree projects ... Decorated or not Lol!
Have a great day
~ Ros ~
Hi Ros.....our tree is up and decorated, only because we had to as we are away at the moment and not back until the 20th.....sorry to hear you've been under the weather X such a pretty scene you've created with your gorgeous painted and stamped background, do so love how you are doing these. The black cameo cut looks great in the for-ground. Thanks for the inspiration x
ReplyDeleteAwesome job Ros! I love the snowy tree scene you created. Beautiful and so peaceful looking with the birds too :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Ros! Love the pretty scene that you created! The shimmery snow and the fun silhouette of birds looks amazing! A real work of art!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you haven't felt well, Ros, & hope you recovery soon. Another gorgeous scene which reminds me of the old days when we went to the woods to get our tree--always loved doing that! The die cut with the birds is absolutely the perfect element! Love this!
ReplyDeleteWe think alike with an undecorated tree:) Your card is amazing; I am in awe of your painting skills and talents. Take care sweetie, thinking of you...

Beautiful peaceful scene. Hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteYou know I love your paintings, and you're so good with the scenes. All that beautiful snow with a bit of earth showing here and there is so natural looking. I like the way you added the trees, and the birds in the foreground give it tons more dimension. I was sorry to hear you're feeling puny, Ros. I hope you're better soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous scene you've created.
ReplyDeleteIMO it's too early to have a Christmas tree up in real life...but at least I'm not as strict as my mum, who would not allow any decorations to go up before Christmas Eve!
So beautiful. You are really taking to the painting like a duck to water. You've added dimension and the sense of distance perfectly. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSuper lovely scene with the pretty trees and line of silhouette birds!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely holiday scene, beautifully done, Ros!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty. Get well soon. Love your artistry.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scene and love those birdies in front, such a natural and peaceful look!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute crowd on that power line - and the Christmas trees look really special!
