NBUS Challenge & SSS Work It Wednesday

Hi there...

Once again the lovely Darnell is hosting her ever popular NBUS challenge!

You must hop on over to her Blog to check out all the details as there are various optional elements but the theme is always the same ...
Use something that you haven't used before, be it a new item or something that has been stashed away just waiting for this moment!
There is a whole array of amazing prizes to be won... That lady just blows me away... I was lucky enough to meet her last year and trust me, she really is as lovely, generous and witty as you think!

So here's my entry

My NBUS items are the stencil I used for my BG which was a gift from my friend Stella and to my shame I had never used, and also the bicycle die which I bought on Amazon and it arrived on Monday...

I cut the bicycle in silver glitter card and in white so I could pieced the flowers/stars and mud guards, then used Copics to colour the balloons etc and glossed them with Mod Podge dimensional magic

One of the optional elements is to use the camouflaged word technique and that's what I did here with a PTI birthday die.

I'm also entering this as Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday

Ok... My friend Pat will be arriving in a few hours and I know she will want to CASe this so I'd better get organised...

Have a great day

  3. Love the background and your pretty colours. 'Recognize' the die and clever how you've used it with hi-lighting the mudguards, saddle etc. Fun idea to camouflage the die sentiment. Perfect card for the NBUS challenge and the optional element. Thanks for sharing this beauty and thank you for stopping by my blog x

As always a wonderful design.

  16. Don't know why but this bicycle makes me think of Mary Poppins flying through the air with her umbrella. LOL It's whimsical and fun and the way you did the birthday die cut as part of the background looks fabulous. Hugs!

  23. That's a really fun bicycle die with the balloons like that! But it's the stripes that really blew me away with this design, Ros! What a fantastic idea to let them drift off the one side like that! And it made for a stunning hidden word effect!! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #9 and joining in the optional theme! And thank you, my friend, for your kind words here and in your get well messages! Love and hugs, Darnell
