Good morning
The sun has taken a break today, it's cooled down, but it is expected to come back tomorrow for a busy weekend here in my city.
We have the tall ships in at the dock, the Bordeaux wine festival and of course my football team LFC are playing in the Champions League at Kiev.
Here's a card I made a few days ago
I stamped and cut the flowers (MFT) from one of the ink blended and splattered pieces I did last week and the stems are cut from an older piece
I had a piece of a leaf die cut left over so I used it in the circle to thread some of the flowers through
And I'll leave you with a picture of my first rose in bloom this year

And that rose is absolutely GORGEOUS too!! Have a great weekend my friend! Sunny and in the upper 80's here...I think we're skipping Spring here and going right to Summer!
ReplyDeleteA splash of color on white -- my favorite -- and I really love the orange! So cute the way you designed the card with the circle cut and leaf die for the flowers to grow through. Your rose is exquisitely beautiful. Such a delicate yellow, and everything looks good with all that green. We get the tall ships here, too, and it's a treat -- small town style. Enjoy your week!

ReplyDeleteWow, a beautiful card, and a different color from you, so very pretty!! Your yellow Rose is gorgeous, I rarely get good Roses anymore, but keep trying, darn bugs munch them all up! We have tall ships here on the great lakes, and get to see them once in a while...so fun!!
