Shock horror... I'm posting a card again today...
Well, the thing was I saw the photo challenge up on the Just Us Girls Blog
And one of my 'just made' Christmas cards seemed to fit the bill with those pretty colours
I cut the poinsettia from a piece I did with Alcohol inks and used gold mirri card for the centre and some tiny sprigs
Then splattered it heavily with both gold and white paint .. Funnily enough it doesn't show up on the poinsettia in this shot
I've made a few variations of this so my pile of Christmas cards is growing steadily
Did you enjoy your Halloween evening? We didn't have that many callers this year so I still have a basket full of sweet treats and I'm trying to resist dipping into to them...

ReplyDeleteWow, your Christmas card pile is growing beautifully! Several of these and it's such a lovely design. The gold splatters are a wonderful addition. Funny how hard it is to photograph anything metallic. I'm lucky to average a card a day and will have to settle on a simple design if I'm going to be ready.

ReplyDeleteI love poinsettias--was just thinking of using my MFT die with felt. However, your alcohol inks with the splatters sure make a gorgeous, artistic flower--love it, Ros! Beautiful card design, too!
