The Holly and The ...Bunny

Hello again...

It's done nothing but rain for days here but DH finally got to go to golf yesterday and I can promise you that I enjoyed it far more than he did (hee hee)... Such bliss to have a few hours alone.

I've been holed up in my craft room with the cats, snuggled in their baskets. An opportunity to sit and paint..

Today's card is as the title says... The holly and the bunny

Proportion wise you have to imagine that this is a tiny bunny

I tried my hand at painting holly and then just kept adding more foliage, when up popped this tiny bunny who was really curious. Well, it's his first Christmas and the glossy berries are so tempting

...Not to mention the gold sparkle of Stickles (which I couldn't capture on the photo).

Actually I'm quite pleased with this - A year ago I wouldn't even have attempted to paint my own foliage let alone a bunny...

Thanks for your visit, have a super day and I'll share some more of my foliage cards in the next few days

Till soon

~ Ros ~

  3. Oh, Ros, this is the sweetest scene with the most adorable little bunny! I didn't even think about the proportions. Tiny bunny, robust holly... it's simply beautiful. So much personality in the bunny... those eyes. Love. I feel better just looking at this.

  8. Just think of the money you're saving while hand-painting these little masterpieces, Ros!! This one is so heart-warming... I can almost see his tiny nose enjoying that pine, and holly aroma!
We've been watching two baby bunnies [who live under our neighbors new deck [shhhh don't tell them] they've grown so big in just a few months! I may have to treat them to snacks when it snows!

  13. This is adorably cute, just the title of the post had me intrigued, so CUTE!! I think the way it sounds our 'stay home and wear a mask order' is going to be extended, it expires on the 8th, but okay by me, I would rather play it safe! My friend lost her mother to covid and her dad i still in hospital with it, but I just want a normal life again! Take care my friend!!
