Not so wise owl ...

Hello there ...
At this time of year I seem to have quite a few birthdays to remember  ... and my memory is not always as good as it used to be! Suffice to say I forgot one ... the husband of one of my friends ... actually I did remember ... but only at 9pm that night ... Oh well...better late than never huh?
So a hastily made card ... 


... A Hero Arts digital owl ... With a computer generated sentiment


paper-pieced using Basic grey papers and a little painting on the branch using distress stains
... and the inside


I think I'm forgiven ...

    Oh this is totally adorable, Ros!!! And thank you so much for coming to visit my blog...I'm afraid the pics of that snowglobe didn't really show what it looks like, but after taking over 80 pics, I gave up! lol

    My husband went to 6 stores to find that snow for me so I could make it. I was so inspired by your adorable white stocking!!
