Jingle Belles ...Sketch challenge

This week's challenge at Jingle Belles is to use a sketch by Amy Tsuruta ...

This sketch

Well I made my card ... sort of based on the sketch ... and then realised that I'd put the sentiment in the wrong place ... Duh! I didn't look properly ... So I made another card that does resemble the sketch ...

Nothing too fancy ... just layered papers and a pretty snowflake

This is the one that I did first ... not quite a representation of the sketch though ...

... but at least I have an extra card in my box

Thing is ... I was looking at my Easter egg ... and now it's all eaten (I know!) well maybe there will be no more distractions ...
Hope you had a lovely day ... I did!

See you tomorrow for the City Crafter challenge

Thanks for stopping by

  6. well i think you are just TOO HARD on yourself, missus... these are BOTH totally awesome and fabulous versions of the sketch--sentiment placement notwithstanding on the red & white card!!! (& actually it looks GREAT where it is!!!)

i also love that you've gone very minimal on these--what i was *TRYING* to do!!!--with the plain cardstock backgrounds and those lovely scaloppy edges... and yet these are so clearly "you" despite the C&S aesthetic! very well done, imo... times TWO!!! ♥♥♥

  10. Two gorgeous cards again, Ros! I'm having trouble with that sketch - I made a card but a sentiment would have runied it. So I guess I have to try again. It looked so easy...
