Word Art Wednesday

Happy Sunday to you!
It's wet and wild here and today is the Derby match between the two Liverpool football teams ...  A big day for football supporters.
My husband supports the Blues (Everton) and has already left for the match ... whilst I support the Reds (Liverpool) and will be listening to the commentary on the radio in the warmth ...

I've been using up scraps lately ... though I think if I created everyday for the next year just using my scraps ... I would still have some left! I made this card for Word art Wednesday ... The verse they gave this week is very thought provoking ... I know so many people who base their treasures on material things ... then they wonder why they are never satisfied ... never happy...

The weather here is making it hard for me to get decent photos so I hope you can make out the scraps of paper from Melissa Frances which I stitched together in a random sort of way

I cut some little leaves from burlap to go with the pretty flower from Wild Orchid Crafts

... And tucked a little hand cut silver heart in there too ...

I would also like to enter this card for the Moxie Fab World Stitch and Sewing Challenge  ...

I hear that a hurricane is making it's way along to the East Coast of America ... My friends out there I am thinking of you and praying you will all be safe ... Take care

Till soon
