Make it Yellow

Hello there...
We have a new challenge over at Double D Challenge today

Team Diane are hosting and the challenge is
Make it Yellow

Yellow is not my go to colour... It's always a challenge to me for some reason ... Guess I'm more of a blues and greens gal but, yellow it is!

I had the idea for my card and started by stamping and colouring the flowers with Copics but I made a boo boo so ended up cutting out the stamped flowers and layering them ... A happy accident as it turned out...

The background was sponged with distress ink and everything else was done with Copics
Then I did a lots of raindrops using glossy accents

The team have created some lovely cards to inspire you up on the blog ... Go take a look and see what you can win if you link up with us ...

As it happens Just Us Girls have a Word Week challenge and the word is Raindrops

So I'd like to enter my card there and also at Inkspirational Challenges
where they have this lovely photo this week

Thanks so much for stopping by - Have a lovely day!

  15. Speaking of favorite colors I am with you. Blues and greens are always my go to colors. But you did a lovely job colouring these flowers. They made me think of daffodils. And that umbrella is so sweet! Your cat; I think it;s my favorite element:)
    Sending big hugs!

  29. A very happy accident, I shall say - such a cute card! The glossy accents make truly wonderful raindrops and these warm hues of yellow and orange are so much in contrast with the rain theme (one would think) but work so well to get across the message.
