Double D Challenge

Hello, I'm back again for the new challenge at

Team Diane is hosting a Gingham challenge and here's the tile board for your inspiration

Much as I love gingham, it's not something that I've used for a while - In fact I don't use many papers or ribbons anymore but I did manage to come up with a use for some of those gingham scraps I had around

Balloons... Birthday balloons tied to a little Cameo cut fence

I did a little sponging there too and added a sweet little cat who is eyeing up those balloons

Our team all have a different creative style so please hop on over to the Blog to check out the projects - We hope you'll be inspired to join us

Have a beautiful day

  8. I just LOVE gingham and this is right up my alley:) And that stinkin'cute cat. Made me think of Ginger :) Perfect for the challenge. I know how much you love watercolouring, colouring, painting and splatters. And you're fab with all these techniques. But you are fab with patterned papers too!

  12. You managed to make those balloons look exactly like they're blowing in the breeze! I had to stop myself from rushing right out and making gingham balloons after I first saw this, but I'm pretty sure they're on the horizon. So cute with the cat and the fence. I really love this, Ros!
