Hello there,
I hope you're having a good start to the week and your 4th July celebrations went well
Kirsty is hosting the challenge this week at City Crafter with the theme
The Book Of Love
The challenge is to either make a mini book or album or make something using a book or book page (Optional - have the theme of love)
I decided to use a book page, from a book of love poems as it happens
The poem is "Like The Touch Of Rain" by Edward Thomas
I used distress inks to sponge the page and added glossy accents and gems to represent the rain
...I stamped and embossed a single rose and used the rectangle dies to frame it
Our Guest Designer this week is Dora, an incredibly talented lady and her blog is well worth a visit, just click the link
As always the team have more projects up on the City Crafter blog to inspire you and we are excited to see what you come up with this week
Enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by

The double framing really draws your eye in to the beautifully coloured and blended background. Nice touch adding the 'rain' drops and stunning white embossed rose on the front. Thank you for the inspiration x
