CAS Watercolour Challenge

Good morning...

I have a card to share that I am entering at

Normally I keep my colours pretty subdued, mostly greens and blues but this lovely weather has turned my head and today it's a bright watercolour done with Gansai Tambi paints

As a rule I prefer to paint on ordinary cardstock as it gives (to me anyway) a brighter finish and that's what I went with here... I lightly spray the CS first and then let the colours flow

I also use my heat gun both on the back and the front to keep it from curling - works for me anyway.

My paints have had a good work out this week Lol!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend, thanks for stopping by

  1. Love this effect Ros....Bright and beautiful and thank you for letting us know how you did it...ordinary card stock, lightly spraying it and then afterwards heating the back and front to help it to stop curling. Sounds good to me, off to give that one a go....Thank you for the inspiration and what an eye catching and stunning CAS card x

  4. Gosh, is this ever beautiful! It's very colorful, but not overly bright. Your watercolor is simply amazing and it looks wonderful, as always, on your bright white paper. I've tried your technique without success, but may have another go at it. Perfect with the dies you used.
