Anything Goes

Hello... How are you?
Survive the manic rush of Black Friday?

It's something that has now taken off in the UK and when I heard on the news about the fights ... Ambulances being called etc., I thought it better to stay home!

As I was finishing up the project for my group on Thursday ... my DH came in and told me it was my friend Pat's husband's birthday... I had no idea ... she sure kept that quiet! So I had a quick card to make ...

I keep a little container on my desk that I keep bit's and pieces like die cuts I didn't use and it comes in handy I can tell you... This is how my card evolved

The circle and stars were in that box so I cut some DP using the wavy borders and splattered the whole card with Tim Holtz distress paint in Pewter.. Voila!

I'm linking this up over at
Where there is an "Anything Goes" challenge

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend

Till soon

You ended up with a masterpiece, Ros! Love the sparkly stars, colors, splatters--everything! The only Black Friday shopping I did was on-line!

Your card is a stunner I love the way you framed/layered that star . It's a wonderful focal point. The splattered background fab. I love a modern card like this; you have a wonderful style! I am a fan:)

Way to go Ros! Your card turned out fantastic. I especially like the splatter. You wouldn't expect a few random dots of paint to make a difference but they really do. Love it!
