CAS Mix Up Challenge

Hello there and Welcome to October!

I am delighted to tell you that I have joined the team at

So I'm going to get right on with it - This month's challenge is Foiling

I may well be the only person who hadn't actually done any foiling and I don't have a fancy foiling machine either Lol! But if you check out the videos you'll see that there are there ways of achieving foiling on your cards using double sided adhesive tape which is what I used here for the stars.

I started with a tiny left over scrap of an alcohol ink piece that I'd added some gold leafing to and layered it onto a die cut rectangle...Before attaching the rectangle to my card I tucked in a spare die cut leaf.

Then came the stars... I took scrap of white cs and added a piece of double sided tape to both sides of the card, die cut the stars leaving the tape backing in place and then removed one side of the backing to glue the stars onto my card. Then I peeled off the top part of the tape and rubbed the foil onto each one. Oh my goodness what a pretty effect it gives and I will definitely be using this technique more.

I finished my card with a stamped and gold embossed sentiment.

The challenge is open for a month so I do hope you will join us.

Have a lovely day and thanks so much for your visit.
