Recipe Book

Hi there ... How's your week going?

It's challenge time at City Crafter once again and this week we have Anna hosting for us
Anna is asking that we make a project related to the kitchen
(e.g.apron, cupcakes, kitchen utensils, recipes)

I don't know about you but I tend to keep pieces of paper with my favourite recipes all over the place ... promising to file them somewhere...sometime
Well this challenge pushed me to make a book to finally store these recipes ...

I used an inexpensive flip photo album to make this ... took me a long time to print all my recipes onto blank postcards but it was worth it ... In fact I've started another book as I filled this so quickly - blame Pinterest!

I made a pocket inside the front cover to hold conversion charts which I printed and laminated to keep them clean - I guess I'm hoping that there'll be no excuse for my DH not to cook once and a while

All the papers and embellishments came from my stash - those stickers I've had for a long time

of course I needed somewhere to put the books ... and I found the perfect container

A vintage radio tin which I picked up for £1.25 in the post Christmas sales ... it was filled with creamy toffees which were delicious

I love this tin and it looks so good in my kitchen and now all my recipes are to hand

our Guest Designer this week is a very talented lady -
Hop over to the blog to see her lovely creation and those from the rest of our team

I'm still on holiday so forgive me for not visiting your blogs for a while - I hope to catch up with you soon ...

Have a lovely week

Till soon
