Blue Flowers

Hello there... I hope you are all well?

It's been a while and boy do I miss not being able to spend time on the computer and sit at my craft table. I've done a lot of baking lately as that doesn't require sitting and relieves the boredom but
I am able to sit for a little longer at a time now so I took advantage of that when Pat came over yesterday... We pulled out some unused stamp sets and played about and I managed to make a couple of cards...

Whilst I have a few ink pads, not many of them are co-ordinating ones and many are years old, so I stuck with a few blues that still are usable

Whilst the first card was done using the misti, this next one wasn't so the stamping is not as good but it's all about handmade right?

... and I'm sure the recipient won't mind

Both cards will be on their way to sweet blog friends...

Wishing you all a wondeful day

~ Ros ~

Both cards are so pretty Ros and great to see the distinct differences. Vibrant colours on the first one and more artsy ones on the second and of course we should never have favourites x. Glad that you can do a little crafting and hope it won't be too long before you get a lot more relief x

The recipient of either of these beautiful cards will be thrilled! I love the pretty blue. All my ink pads are old. I do have reinkers for them, but I'm sure the pads will wear out before the ink is gone. I hope your back condition continues to improve day by day. It was a treat to see your cards!

I am just squeezing in some time to check your blog and my oh my....I LOVE seeing this!!! Good to hear you had a good time with Pat. I am wondering if you also baked that fabulous raspberry cake that we baked together. I would give anything to get a bite of what you baked.....

I'll mail you this weekend; thinking of you a LOT.

Both cards are gorgeous with the lovely blue flowers, Ros! Love the gold embossed sentiment on the vellum with gems at the side...so pretty! I need to remember to use vellum more often for it gives such a soft lovely appeal. And, your second card is just as beautiful! So happy to hear you and your friend, Pat, had a great time making cards! Take care!

Both your blue flowered cards are so beautiful, Ros. One is clean and crisp and the other more of a watercoloured look! TFS and so happy to see you stamping. Have you tried stamping standing up at a counter? I stamped for years standing at my kitchen island. Took forever to get comfortable stamping at my craft desk!

TFS my friend. Hugs...

Good to hear that you get to sit a little more again - that sounds like things are improving! I love your cards, the first one in particular. It's not so much that the stamping may be better - the sentiment heat embossed on vellum is the perfect touch.

These blue flowers look lovely and I really don't think this kind of stamping needs to be precise. The contrasting goes perfectly too.

Both cards are beautiful and elegant, and yet they have a different look! I love the blue layered petals. I'm glad to hear that you can sit a little longer, and I hope your back continues to improve. Hideko

They're both gorgeous, Ros! I love the look of the blue roses--unusual & stunning! If only we were closer & I could share some of my 100s of ink pads! So happy you're doing a bit better & hope you continue to improve. Big hugs, Greta
