Wishes can come true...

Hello and Happy Monday!

I'm so happy to tell you that the cat I wrote about in my last post has been adopted!
Oh my, the couple who came to see her (friends of a friend)  fell in love with her instantly. In fact I have to say that I have never seen a man more besotted with a cat than I did on Saturday morning.
I've had a few reports to say that she has settled in with them and from what I can gather is being totally spolit! It was bittersweet to let her go but I am beyond relieved and Tabby cat has now reclaimed his cosy outdoor house

So today's card is a simple sponged BG with a stamped and embossed image

If you are wondering how I made the 'moon' well,  you just simply dampen a sponge applicator and gentle swirl it to remove some of the distress ink ...

Wishes can come true and for now at least, peace has resumed here...

Have a wonderful day

Peaceful and dreamy card, I absolutely love it!! I am happy the cat has a new home and a good one at that....my 2 little kittens I have nursed the last 8 weeks are to go to new homes this week, kind of sad as both the hubby and I have taken to them and their little antics...and I hate to see them separated as they are so close.

Thrilled for you Ros! Tabby Cat looks settled too x Such a perfect card and the sentiment says it all. Beautiful sponging and glorious colours. That silhouette stamp is so very pretty and the pop of silver glitter and the splats set off your amazing card to perfection. One delightful card x

Yay! I'm glad she found a new home and things are getting back to normal. The card is lovely and that is a very clever trick for the moon.

What a lovely and dreamy background, Ros! It's perfect for your day-dreaming fairy sending her wishes to the moon! I'm so delighted to hear that the cat has been united with her adopted family and Tabby cat is back on the throne!! Hugs, Darnell

I'm so glad to hear that this cute invader found a new home! And this bit of news fits perfectly with your beautiful card - lovely image, not to speak of the gorgeous background!

Beautiful card, Ros, love it when you use blue...it must be your color! Great news about the new home for the cat...it is so hard for animals to adjust to something new. My baby Tigger after four years is still frightened by noise and my husbands foot steps....maybe some day! Happy Thursday!

Yay, good news and I'm so happy to hear it! Your cute little problem has gone to a wonderful new home with hopefully no other cats to pester. Now, your card... Such a lovely, crisp silhouette on your distress ink background. The perfect die cuts, and I absolutely LOVE how you made the moon!! That's a tip to remember, for sure!
