A few cards

Hello...

Before I was called away to Lincoln last week I had 3 cards to make and post... A birthday card, an Anniversary card and one to go to my friend who has just been told that her husband has terminal cancer... Everything seemed to come at once except my inspiration so I turned to a card I saw done by the talented Laura Bassen here and these are my versions

The anniversary card for my brother and SIL

... Using the same colours for a birthday card

And more "Laura" colours for my friend

I hope you are all having a good start to the week and I'll catch up with you soon

So sorry to hear about your friend's husband, Ros. There is so much sadness in the world, it can feel overwhelming some times. Thank goodness for friends that make me see the good & bring happiness to my life. A perfect friendship card with the beautiful dry embossing, inking, image & sentiment--she'll treasure it! You've definitely made Laura proud with your beautiful versions--love them all! I've never inked with a mask like that, but you make me want to try it! Sending hugs & love, Greta

No wonder inspiration was missing with all that has been going on for you Ros. In spite of this you came up with 3 gorgeous cards and I just love those soft inked backgrounds - so well done and aren't they versatile!
