Paint With Attitude

Hello ... I've been playing with some paints today

... Just ordinary acrylics mixed with water

I splished and splashed and even used a glass tumbler to make those ring marks

It was fun! And ... I like the result

Hope you have some fun today

Our Beautiful World

Hello ...

It's time for a new word prompt at Our Beautiful World

Milagros has chosen for us this week ... Her prompt is
Rainbow

There is something magical about a rainbow don't you think? No matter how many I've seen throughout my life ... they still hold a fascination

It's so easy to live in a bubble ... feet on the ground, head filled with day to day stuff...
Taking a moment to stop and look at a rainbow is taking a pause ... the mind falls silent for a while. We look up to the sky and witness this beauty in the universe both of which have no beginning and no end ... A colourful reminder that we are tiny parts of something so great, so vast ...

We are not just the road, the house, the life we live... We are part of something so much more ... We are so much more

So if you are driving along ... maybe a little frustrated or anxious as the rain pours down and suddenly a rainbow appears ... remember to take a little pause and breathe ...

Even in the darkest of skies magic happens ... and in the great scheme of things our troubles are small

Link up with us at

And have a beautiful day

Spring Lambs

Friday is here once again ...
The week has flown by don't you think

I was at the club last night though it was not me doing the project this week ... I don't do them every week now because it is so much work but I thought you'd like to see the last project I did for them ... A little notebook and a card for Spring

Now I can't take the credit for this design ... It was something I had bookmarked a long time ago
from the talented Jak Heath

I can tell you that even with the help of my friend Pat, it took hours and hours to cut out all those pieces for a group of 20+ people
And given that they are Special Needs ... we decided that it would be best to assemble the faces for them to just stick on ... there were eyes flying everywhere! I make life difficult for myself don't I ...

Next week we are going to do box cards that I'm seeing at lot of lately ... I thought they'd be nice for Mother's Day which is on the 30th of this month ... not that many of them still have a Mum but they can use their own sentiment
You can guess what I'll be doing this weekend then ... cutting and punching and cutting and punching

I hope you have a lovely weekend ...

Till soon take care

CAS.ology Challenge

Hi there!

There's a cold wind today though at least we have sunshine ... The daffodils are taking a battering and the forecast is another cold spell going to -8C ... Not looking forward to that!
But hey, I know a lot of you have struggled with worse weather this winter

The Cue card this week at CAS.ology is Blush

That makes me feel a bit warmer ... So here's a quick card that I put together

A little bit of stamping in both distress stain (spun sugar) and Archival (platinum planet) ink to mimic the strip of paper cut from a page

I die cut the stars and they somehow remind me of star fish looking at them now

I found it hard not to add a little more here but the challenge is CAS ... well it was simple

I hope you're having a good day

Stay safe ... and warm

Till soon

Here Come Spring

Hello and good morning!
I do hope you are having a good start to the week

Our Host this week at City Crafter is Anna
Her theme is Spring in the Garden

and Anna is asking that this week we
Create a card or project that includes an element(s) of the garden
e.g. Seed packet, flower pot, tools

I chose to alter one of those large pegs that has been hiding in my cupboard for a long time

It holds a photo of my great nephew and niece that was taken in my garden

I fussy cut some flowers and plant pots and added another flower some punched leaves and of course my cat along with some scraps of paper and a bit of lace

The die cut bird and lamp post were also hiding in my scraps

We have the lovely Sylwia guesting with us again this week so I hope you'll hop over to the CCCB Blog and take a look at all the projects from the DT

We also have a generous sponsor this week

My Craft Spot store is offering a Stamp Set of choice to our winner!
Please take a moment to go visit the store and the Blog ... there are some fabulous projects and amazing goods...
