Just Us Girls # 453

Hello and good morning!

Today sees the start of another new challenge at
Where I am lucky enough to be Guest designer for the month of August.

This week it's Trend week

It's a fun and simple technique which I urge you to try and here is a link to a tutorial by Jennifer McGuire for those of you who like me, perhaps had not heard of this idea.

Here's my card

Having stamped and embossed the flower and leaf images, I swiped them with a few distress inks...

...Spritz them with water and dried them with a heat gun before die cutting.
Of course you can just leave them to dry but I'm kind of impatient.

I love the results that you can get doing this and I hope you will give it a try.
Do head on over to the blog to see what the team have created to inspire you this week and come and join us!

Have a lovely day

~ Ros ~

I saw her do this recently and your version is really gorgeous Ros, and I love the cut out piece in WOW which doesn't detract from your beautiful flowers but looks so pretty. x

Your watercolored flowers beautifully pop against the white background, Ros! I saw Jennifer's video too, but I haven't tried this yet.
The die-cut in the background adds some elegant flair to the card. Hideko xx
