CAS Watercolour Challenge

Hello there, I hope you are well...

Today's card is for the CAS Watecolour Challenge.

Being on a CAS team means I'm not eligible to win but I still like to challenge myself when I can and this past week I've had little time, believe it or not I've spent days putting Ikea furniture together.
There was a time that I could easily get up and down and into small spaces and though my brain thinks I still can, my body doesn't agree Lol!
So I took some time out yesterday and made a card instead.

The little mushrooms are from an Avery Elle Christmas set (Gnome for Christmas) and I have to say that I've used this set so many times - The stamps are so versatile for all year use
I stamped, embossed and painted using distress inks
The butterfly is from a Woodware stamp set and the sentiment is an Aliexpress purchase
I've also been doing a little sketching when I have time... It's been ages since I picked up my pencil and tried my hand at it... I'm not that good but I try

Have a lovely day and thanks so much for popping in
~ Ros ~

This is such a pretty card, Ros! Love how you impressed the stitched circle in the background - gives lots of depth to the creation.
Hope the furniture is put together by now.
Hugs

LOVE every thing about this card Ros, from the debossed circle, the garland of die cut leaves, those sweet little water colored mushrooms and butterfly, and of course the perfect sentiment to go along with it all! Lovely, lovely card my friend! (And your drawings are just as lovely!!) Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at CAS Watercolour! :0)

What? If I could sketch like that I wouldn't need stamps, Ros! Your talent amazes me! And we're so lucky to have you on a CAS team! Your card would be a winner for sure! Love the little mushrooms and that die cut wreath! The butterfly added to the sentiment is fun and lighthearted! I know what you mean about getting up and down.

Those toadstools are gorgeous Ros and I love the die cut leafy wreath and the dry embossed stitched circle round that really makes it stand out, and the sweet butterfly and sentiment finish it beautifully. Two fantastic drawings, especially the wonderful poppies which look as though you have used some ink. x

Beautiful and sweet CAS red and black watercolored card design, Ros. I love your debossed circle for your pretty stamped and watercolored mushrooms and bit of die cut framing for added texture. Sweet sentiment and butterfly too. TFS my friend. Hugs..Nancy

Love the trio of mushrooms - I'm always thrilled when I see one of those red mushroms with the white spots out in the wild. Great layout with the die cut framing the mushrooms and then the dry embossed circle framing it all.

Ros, this is such an adorable card … I've found some really interesting little mushrooms on our forest walks, but none this cute!
Your sketches are fabulous - I'd love to paint your Poppies!
