Hooray for the holidays!

That's the new challenge this week at City Crafter Challenge set by our very own Cheryl and just look at the pictures ...

These are purely for inspiration as the challenge is to make a card/project with a holiday theme ...
A great challenge Cheryl ...  And easy peasy don't you think? ... I went for Halloween of course ... well, I'm trying to put off Christmas for as long as possible ... even if the shops already have their Christmas goods on sale ... I am one of those "Keep Christmas for December" sort of girls ...
So here is my card ...

A cute image from a free vintage site Here ... and believe it or not my background  DP is Christmas paper from MME ... I know ... I know ...  some Basic Grey DP too, the rub-ons are a gift from Cheryl .. ribbon and lace, buttons and pearls all from my stash ... The frame I covered in 2 coats of black glitter ..

I don't think anyone send Halloween cards here in the UK .... But I do like to make them and see them ... purely for the fun of it all ....
Please take a minute to visit City Crafters and check out all the DT work plus our Guest Designer Arielle Gorden ...
So now it's up to you ... are you going to take on the challenge? I hope so ...

Seems my card also qualifies for the Shabby Tea Room challenge this week ... see .. Vintage Halloween

Have a great day!

Some lovely photos you have here Ros. I can't believe how fast this year has gone, Halloween already!

We normally stay at home with the kids but this year we have decided to book a 3 night break at Haven Weymouth Bay holiday park which we are hoping to give the kids some real excitement with all the entertainment they tend to have at these parks.

Absolutely love the cards aswell, you don't often see Halloween cards. Like you say here in the UK we don't send them really.

Hope you enjoy your day.

If you send this card to me I'll celebrate Halloween.... we don't celebrate it here in Holland but receiving a card like this would be a good reason to start celebrating. I think I made it clear how I think about your creation :)
