Stripes and Polka Dots ...

Hello to you ...
This weeks's challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog has been set by sweet Linda Robson
and she has chosen Stripes and Polka dots ... we are asked to use both on our project this week ...

Fabulous picture Linda

Our Guest designer is the very talented Viola Mahr all the way from Singapore who many of you already know ... as she designs wonderful blog headers including City Crafter's ... she also has her own blog and makes the most beautiful cards too ... you can visit her Here  ... and you really need to see the lovely cards she created for our challenge this week along with the creations from the rest of the DT ...
We are also lucky enough to be sponsored by the Ribbon Reel  ... so there is a gorgeous package of goodies on offer ... I have actually bought goods from here and they are lovely ...

On to my card ... my Uncle Terry is going to be 88 next week ... and I made this card for him ... he is the sweetest kindest Uncle in the world and recently he has had to go into a care home so my lovely Aunt has asked that we all send bright and cheerful cards ...

I think this fits the bill ...
I used my new SB banner die and papers from We R Memory Keepers

... I fussy cut some little birds and a butterfly ... beautiful twine from June
a flower from my stash with a glittered up button and there we are ...
I hope you are going to join us this week ....

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Yes, there is another lady called Ros who visits me. And just like you she is lovely.
I have two lovely ladies called Ros who visit me, how lucky is that?
Thank you for your sweet comments and yes I didn't go away for long and I'm back.
I'm off to Cornwall tomorrow for a short break; back on Friday.
Have fun Ros.
I so love hearing from you.

Such a lovely card Ros! I know your Uncle will be thrilled to receive. I love getting snail mail, especilaly since it's getting more infrequent over the years due to email? I sometimes wish we still did more hand written letters. Although, my handwriting has totally declined. I type all the time. I hope he is cheered up with the card shower! :-) Amy

WOW Ros...I love your ecclectic style and your creativity. The masculine cards are really cool and I like how personally you write your blog...allows us to really share in your creative process. And thank YOU for your generous comment (I was a bit brazen saying my card was cool eh!) but thanks for saying something about THAT! lol I love how much gratitude you give people in your blog...you don't seem to miss a trick to acknowledge gifts etc. It has been a pleasure to meet you, as much as one can, through reading down through your cards and posts. Very genuine! Samara xox
