Jingle Belles Rock

Hi ...
I hope it's warm where you are because here in the UK it is a typical Bank Holiday ... cold, wet and windy ... more like autumn than summer ...

I got my card done early this time for the challenge at Jingle Belles which is to use Embossing ...

I used a long neglected TH embossing folder with a brick effect ... I rubbed ink on the folder first before I ran my CS through which gave it this effect and I just had to use those lovely SB dies by Nina Brackett for my house and star ...

The papers were from my scraps and my sentiment is computer generated ... I also added just a touch of flower soft to my house for 'snow'

Ok ... Time for a coffee I think ... I'm so cold!

Have yourselves a wonderful day ... Thanks for visiting me
Till soon

LOVE those dies and using the brick e/f is totally inspired... i'm also noting how FAB it looks with just a little ink dabbed on before one embosses...sooooooo much detail added with just that one tiny step! brilliant missus! now go snuggle up!!! ♥

Such a pretty card, Ros! It could be for other occasions too, so beautifully made:)
Time for a coffe definitely, it is coldish, but milder down here probably. Not boasting, I'd rather be cooler than hotter.
have a lovely week.

Lovely colours on your pretty Christmas card, Ros. I love the touch of flower soft, which looks so like real snow. It's nice to computer generate your own words on cards, I like to do that, too x

I love your Christmas card, Ros, love the lime color especially and of course the embossing. So sorry it is cold, it will be another hot day here and then we are supposed to cool off a little. Have a wonderful afternoon!

Gorgeous! Light green isn't exactly what first comes to mind when thinking about a Christmas card but it works exceptionally well here. And the sentiment is wonderful, too.
