City Crafter Buttons ... and a little vintage

Hello sweet friends ...
Tuesday means another new challenge at City Crafter where our hostess this week is Linda ... and the theme she has chosen for us is Button, Buttons ... asking that we use at least 5 buttons on our projects

I went a little vintage this week ... using an image from Here

Now I bet you're thinking that I only used 3 buttons ... actually I used 6!

If you look closely ... you will see that I doubled up ... using one button on top of the other ... some are sewn together and the sparkly button is just glued to the underneath button

Papers are from Melissa Frances, stamps are PTI and Crafty Secrets ... inked with Ocean Tides to match the backing card for my image ... both from PTI

Our Guest Designer this week is the uber talented Michelle Bala ... a winner here at City Crafter ... And if YOU would like a Guest Designer spot with us ... Well, that's the prize up for grabs this week ... we're a friendly bunch so come join us!

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for your lovely comments and for visiting me today

I like your "stylish" card a lot - pure vintage elegance! Thanks for the link to the vintage fashion site, too!
Have a nice day! How many days left until you´re cruisin´?

Glad my eyes didn't fail me Ros, for I saw the 6 buttons ;-) That turquoise makes such a lovely contrast to the soft toned backing papers, a very classy and stylish card again!

Such a beautiful card, Ros. I love to sew, and until just recently I had some very similar dress patterns to these. Both my grandmother and my mother were dressmakers, and I used have all of their old dress patterns. I love how you have embellished your card, too.
You said that your foot still hurts...it will. It's two years since my fracture and the only shoes I can wear are Birkenstocks. You should try them x

What a clever way to use five buttons! When I read about the five buttons my first thought was that it might look crowded - you certainly avoided that!
