There are quite a few celebration coming up in the next few weeks ... As you know it was my son's birthday yesterday and tomorrow New Years Eve my friends' daughter celebrates her 25th birthday ... My friend had given up hope of ever becoming a mother ... when 16 years after she married along came her beautiful daughter ... We both know how blessed we are to have been given the chance of motherhood that one time ...

Have you plans for New Year Eve celebrations?? We will be going to a dinner dance at my husband golf club ... New Year Eve is always quite difficult for me ... it's the day I lost my Mum and the years have flown by ... At the time you just wonder how you will get through the next day ... and before you know it ... 10 years have gone by

Now hear my funny story, I just learn that a friend of mine just got a baby, they already given up hope 10 years ago and when I saw the email signed off with an extra name "zoey", I thought it was a pet they just had, LOL! But I was clever enough to "poke" around and asked "is there a new member of the family" LOL!
What a gorgeous sentiment....quite tear-jerking.
I feel like a new mother twice this year and they are only grandchildren....it still brings out the mother in me.
