Dare I say it but I read this novel way back in high school more than 4 decades ago ...
And I know my fellow team mate Wendy at City Crafter is a huge fan of Jane Austen
The lovely Wendy is hosting for us this week and the challenge she originally set us was to create a project based on the novel Pride and Prejudice ... But the challenge has been extended to
Create a project based any Jane Austen novel
I have to confess that at first my mind went blank! But of course you only have to think about some of the costumes and the array of vintage photos and silhouette images available to be inspired ... Naturally I didn't think to go down that route
What inspired me was the lovely chain in the photo and a wonderful and meaningful quote from the book
Here's my project
A simple necklace
... dressed up with a few charms
Our Guest designer this week is Julie aka The Glitter Chick ... who I know will have no trouble with this challenge ...
I'm really looking forward to seeing her creation along with those of the other designers ... and we'd all love to see your take on the challenge ... are you an Austen fan?
The winner will be given a Guest Design spot here with us at City Crafter too ... so come and join us.
Till soon my friends
Have a beautiful day
