July

The prompt this week at Our Beautiful World is simply "July"
Now if I taken my photo in the last 3 days ... it would be totally different from the one I took on the 1st July ...
On the 1st July - mid summer in the UK - it was raining ... cool, windy  and not at all promising ... the flowers were blooming but taking a beating from the wind and rain ...

This is the shot I took that morning

You can click to enlarge this and you will notice the raindrop trickling down the pansy leaves
How fresh and green those leaves look though ...

I know that July means something different to other countries around the globe and I'm looking forward to what it means to you ...
Of course across the USA you have celebrations for Independence day ... Canada Day I think is celebrated on the 1st of the month too ...
There are birthdays and weddings ... high days and holidays ...  somewhere it is winter ... somewhere there is raging heat ...
That's our beautiful world ...
So please link up your photos Here and share with us your view of July

And I'll leave you with this shot of  one of our flowers that looks like a beautiful sun ...

Enjoy your day!

Great photos, Ros.
We have enormous poppies and delicate roses, July is a wonderful month for the garden to show itself off to the world.

Lovely garden flower photo's, Ros.
Unfortunately, because of our late summer most of our garden flowers have yet to bloom. We had one single rose last week!!
Hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend x

Both are beautiful, Ros! The yellow Gazania flower you have are one of my favorites to plant. Once the head goes to seed, I scatter it back in the pot and more will come up the following year. It has been hot here the last few days as well. :)

Hugs~

Oh such pretty flowers, I'm always amazed at the ease with which flowers start blooming again, even after harsh winters and torrents of rain! Ira x
