Birthday Card

Hello there ...
I'm a little behind on visiting your blogs ... I am still having trouble with my eyes and being on the computer too long doesn't help ... So please bear with me ...

Yesterday was a friends birthday and a reason to go to lunch and catch up... There are 4 of us who try to catch up once a month ... we all met at Pilates years ago and now we prefer to just do lunch!

This is the card I made for her ... unfortunately it's so dull here that taking photos is very difficult ...

The paper is really from a pad of Christmas paper and has a faint sparkle to it

The butterfly is done on acetate and backed with paper ... I printed the acetate on my computer and then die cut a butterfly

Did I tell you that Miss Gispy is missing again?

It's been nearly 3 weeks now ... You can imagine how upsetting it is ... especially for my son ...
On the upside ... the little stray ginger cat has decided to move in ... at least I know he won't spend another winter outdoors.

We won't give up hope that Miss Gipsy will come back ... she's done it before ... Fingers crossed

I hope you have a lovely weekend ... I'll be back tomorrow for the new prompt at

Till then keep safe and thanks for popping in

~ Ros ~

Love your card, Ros, love the soft blue color! So sorry about Miss Gypsy, I know what it is like to want your cat to come home. Your ginger looks like my Bugsy, know he will be happy there. Will be praying that your black and white cat comes home safely. Have a wonderful Saturday!

Poor you, you must be so worried!
She could be in someone's shed or building, have you asked the neighbours?

My cat's behaving now, like an ageing animal, he is about 13, so he is slowing down.

Very sophis.... card, btw
Xxxx

What a cute picture of Ginger! I do hope she comes back soon - and finding the new kid on the block will teach her a lesson to just take off ;-) The card is gorgeous, all those shades of blue... Hope your eyes have improved already!

So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your eyes Ros. Isn't it terrible that our fun way of sharing our hobby and keeping in touch with friends is doing us in physically? LOL I think your card is just lovely and I'm sure your friend adored it. I bet Miss Gipsy is out taking a tour of all the lovely foliage like the ivy you shared in your other post. Hope she returns home safely. Hugs!
