Hello there ...
I hope you are all well and having a good week ..
Within a day of my DH coming home from hospital he came down with a heavy cold ... Thankfully he is on the mend and though I tried hard not to catch it ... I have finally succumbed - I have Thursday Club tonight and as I haven't been for a few weeks I can't let them down so I am busy putting together little albums for them to embellish.
I have a card I made for the challenge this week at Shopping Our Stash
... where the theme is about Thanks and though I feel pretty rough - I have such a lot to be thankful for - Especially all you wonderful bloggers who have offered prayers and kind words over the past few weeks ...
This is for you
I'm really loving the inlaid die technique and used it for my card
... along with a few scraps of paper and a computer generated sentiment
I inlaid the Thankful die from PTI and a Heart die by Nina Brackett
Thanks so much for visiting me today
Have a beautiful day

Oh, Ros, I've been completely absent over the last couple of weeks. We're going through the wringer, too, but my hopes and prayers are with you and your hubby. I'm working my way through all the posts I've missed, so I'm sure that I'll learn more specifics. Your card is perfect. I just adore that bold, soft blue, inlaid sentiment!
So pretty, Ros, and so sorry you and your husband have colds! Hope both of you will be feeling much better soon! Have a wonderful time at your Thursday club!
Your card is beautiful!

Oh no, you're having a cold too, I'm sorry dear. I'm just recovering from mine but alas the coughing won't go away yet.
Your card is beautiful and soft. I love the pale colours of it. So matches the sentiment of thankfulness.
Take care sweetie, hope your evening will be fine nevertheless.
Hugs

Sorry to hear you and hubby have a cold...Glad he is on the mend, that was sure tough on him after his hospitalization. Your cards are great, glad you are getting out, sometimes when I have a cold I feel better if I get out and kind of forget about it!

That inlaid look is so appealing Ros. I'm so sorry that you had the germies attack. I'm sure your system was probably a bit down after all that stress with your DH. Hope you're feeling much better now. :-)

I'm so sorry to hear that DH caught a cold as soon as he got home and then you caught it, too! Your card is really pretty, Ros, and a wonderful showcase of that technique in really pretty colors! I hope your cold goes away quickly and I hope they figured out what was wrong with DH. Hugs, Darnell
